Jim Ferugio founded Building By Design, Inc. out of a passion for all-things construction and a passion for helping others. His career began at Lennar/US Homes where he was the youngest Senior Construction Manager on his team. Since establishing Building By Design in 2006, he has focused on providing an exemplary product and building lasting relationships with his customers. Being raised in a small blue-collar town in Pennsylvania, the value of hard work and friendliness is instilled in Jim—he strives to bring the “small town” level of comfort to all of his projects. A graduate of Virginia Tech and a full-scholarship athlete of the Hokies Football Team, Jim’s athletic and professional achievements demonstrate his work ethic, dedication and commitment. Whether it be a large kitchen or bathroom renovation, or a small handyman job, Jim will be there to ensure the job is completed to your satisfaction.
